January 24, 2016 - The Sanctity of Human Life

posted Feb 8, 2016, 11:48 AM by Grant Garber
Four Important Reasons Why I Believe We Should Care About the Sanctity of Life
  1. I Believe We Should Care About Preborn Children.
    • Caring cannot lead to inaction.
      • The Good Samaritan (Luke 10:25-37)
    • Inactivity comes as a result of having too little compassion, not too much busyness.
  2. I Believe We Should Care About the Parents.
    • There are over 3,000 pregnancy help centers and maternity homes in the U.S. and Canada.
    • One of the reasons that these pregnancy help centers exist is because they care about the moms (and the families) even after abortions.
  3. I Believe We Should Care About Our Country (the Common Good).
    • A country that tilts toward death and away from life tilts away from hope.
    • We are constantly at risk as a nation of plunging into pessimistic despair as many mourn the loss of finding meaning in life.
  4. I Believe We Should Care About God.
    • I am pro-choice in terms of God’s choice to give life.
